Last November, I had the privilege of celebrating the women who have been so pivotal in helping to shape me into the woman I am today-my mom and sisters. My very best friends! I’ll fly to the ends of the earth for these 3, and basically did on a 23 hour flight to Bali, Indonesia. 😬 These cookies represent their distinct interests, Brielle is our free spirit who appreciates peace and balance, Brandie brings the fun and jokes and is a die hard Cowboys enthusiast, and our Mom (Bertie) keeps us grounded and has soared through life gracefully laying the foundation for her girls-the Bird of Paradise is one of her favorite plants and a play on her name.

All of their birthdays are in November, and I’m the lone August ranger. I’m so glad to get my own month! 😂😂

Yesterday we watched our beautiful daughter dance her heart out at her dance recital! We are so proud of how brave and fearless our quiet and shy little girl becomes every time she hits the stage.

A few weeks ago our son turned 5 years old. His presence commands any room he walks in. He’s smart, caring, funny, and can be a little temperamental like this cute little Pikachu, his favorite Pokémon! We are so grateful Hurricane Beryl did not ruin his party before she cut the lights out on all of Houston. My largest order to date came from the best sorority on the planet, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Upsilon Chapter, the 20th chapter, was founded on the campus of the University of Southern California in 1924 by six freshman women who paved the way for me to join this illustrious sisterhood in the Fall of 2008. This weekend we celebrated 100 years of service on campus and it was a beautiful weekend of sisterhood, community & service. We are the only black organization to have an endowment fund on campus for young black women Trojans with over $100,000 raised. I am so proud of my chapter and the work we do as Delta women. Oo-oop! 🔺🐘❤️

Well hello! I noticed some new followers, so I figured, it might be time to reintroduce or introduce myself 🤣. I don’t think I ever have. Anyway, I’m Bridgette and I’m a self taught everything, I mean I just love crafting and DIY 😂 but in particular a self taught cookie decorator. During COVID, my favorite cookie shop stopped selling cookies and since I couldn’t order any Christmas cookies for my kiddos, I taught myself how to do it. Then my sister had me do some cookies for a friends birthday and the rest is history. I’m a working mom and wife, hence the name 😉 And cookie art is my creative outlet and part-time hustle to help pay for all of the activities of my little broke homies (my kiddos) 👫🏾 I’m new to Katy/Houston, Texas so book me for your next celebration. All of my Cali customers know, artistically, you get more than what you pay for every time AND the cookies are delicious.
